Formed by ordinance in 1990, the Botkins Community Improvement Corporation acts as an instrument for industrial, commercial, distribution, and research development in the village. The BCIC manages the 50 acres in the Botkins Industrial Park. It also has helped put on a local business expo in conjunction with Jackson Center. Currently there are plans to start a Botkins Growth Association.
Formerly the Kiwanis Club, The Town and Country Club has been in existence for nearly forty years. T & C is instrumental in putting on the Village Easter Egg Hunt, providing a fishing derby for the area youth, and providing entertainment and a visit from Frosty the Snowman in conjunction with the Fire Department every Christmas Season.
For more information, please contact Robert Drees at 693-4022.
The Botkins Athletic Boosters work diligently to raise money and participation so that Botkins Local School may field successful and well-equipped sports teams. Major fundraisers include Night at the Races and the Buckeyes Booster Bash. Currently, the BAB is proposing a new track/soccer complex to be located at Botkins Community Park. This project will begin in the Spring of 2010.
If you bleed Black and Yellow, please contact President Ginger Heuker at 693-7813.
